How I long to see some tulips in my garden … actually, how I long to see my garden. Lovely photo.

Today I saw the first shoots of daffodils in the garden — yes, they are early, but I was so happy to see them. I don’t have any tulips in my garden, but this photo reminds me that the daffs will be up in a month or so.

Striped tulips? I’ve never seen any that I remember. The color combo is very pretty.
    Happy GTS,

Okay – now I don’t feel so guilty about living in Santa Barbara, where snow is a rarity and “cold” means dipping into the low 30s. Yes, we have palm trees in winter, but we can’t grow a tulip worth a damn. The other man’s grass….

I’ve seen striped tulips before, but never one with that coloring. It’s very pretty and cheerful.

Joy, I think they’re ALL my favorite.

Crafty Gardener, I’m right there with you — can’t wait to see my garden again!

Lydia, I hope those daffodil shoots are growing like wildfire now!

Aiyana, I’ve never seen them anyplace else other than when I photographed these.

Billy, no tulips in Santa Barbara? You know what…I think I’d trade buying them at the store for your views of the ocean.

Sarah, it is definitely quite cheerful. Thanks for stopping by!
