One more for the road…

OK…so maybe, just for today, my heart’s still in San Francisco. I realize this has nothing to do with gardening, but come on, people. There’s no ocean in Iowa. I have to take full advantage when it’s available.

Sunset over the bay

(For those who want a little reference material with their purty photos, this was taken at the Berkeley Marina at sunset on Tuesday evening…)

It sounds like you had a wonderful trip – lovely garden center, pretty drive and perfect sunset.
We lived on the bay in Ireland and had lovely sunsets….I miss them here (like you) in the middle of Flatland.

Wonderful sunset… I love the ocean, can’t be without it even though I live in the capital of Sweden (Stockholm) – but it’s situated in the coastline of the Baltic Sea, so it’s nearby :-D.

…and the summer vacation is spent in an island outside the southern east coast with the best beaches of Sweden – gorgeous.

Kelli, it was a lovely breeze out there.

Layanee, thanks for stopping by and for the good wishes!

Cole, same to you — thanks for the shout-out. :-)

Katiez, ooh…I bet you did see some lovely Irish sunsets. Sigh…the flatland just isn’t the same…

Captain Lifecruiser, but Stockholm has gorgeous water vistas, too — plenty of river to go around! And your summer vacation location sounds fabulous!

Hi! This has got to be one of my favorite pictures! I was there at the same spot just a couple days later! We were visiting my niece at Skates!

Linda, I’m so bummed we missed each other by just a couple of days…who would have thunk it? But I’m glad you got to see your niece…and that gorgeous view.
