Grim thumb gardeners, unite!

[Curtain rises on STEVE and GENIE eating breakfast on a Sunday morning.]

Steve: What are you going to post on your blog today?

Genie: [Speaking through a mouthful of scrambled eggs] It’s Green Thumb Sunday, so it’s a photo day.

[Steve continues to eat his eggs for a few moments.]

Steve: Did you just say…Grim Thumb Sunday?

Isn’t that what you get when you’ve been gardening for too long? Or, how you fingers become all spongy when you fall asleep in the bath?

Hope it cures up for you soon, Genie!

Stuart, I like that…the shriveled finger effect…that sounds like exactly the right description!

Well, Genie… the cold, wilted sage IS kind of grim… *grin*

Kim, it’s grim, but lovely in a forlorn kind of way. At least, that’s how I see it. Which clearly means I’ve been buried in snow a little too long… :-)
